This week we met Fiona…
Fiona’s knee highs worked together, from the toe up….
…and Fiona’s shrug. Check out the Biggan Design yarn colour palette for an amazing range of colours. If you’re after vibrant, striking solid colours this is the place to go! Biggan’s sell 4 ply and DK in 100% Australian merino first cross wool.
Pleased with her first ever effort at making a top, Charlotte cast on the 4 ply green cotton for a 3/4 sleeve cardi – Sublime pattern.
Raewyn finished sewing up her little green multi baby cardi (lace pattern raglan detailing) as well as working on her lace edge baktus. She picked up the skeins from the Martinborough Fair, Night Falls 4 ply merino by Joy of Yarn is a particularly nice blend muted hues.
Wendy, Simone, Lindsay and myself continued with our respective WIP’s. From time to time we’re treated with delicious morsels from the group, this week Fiona bought along a deliciously tart lemon tart to share and I’d made Louise cake – sweet knitting indeed!
If you enjoy knitting on your own you’ll love knitting in a group with other keen knitters – it’s so much fun sharing the experience…so don’t stay at home and knit alone, come and check us out 🙂
iKnit meets in Lyall Bay, Wellington (see Contact tab for more details)
